An elegant wine with tropical fruit aromas mingling with subtle green herb notes. A pure, clean entry yields to a wonderful core of fruit which is given poise by the acidity and further refined by a fine minerality on the finish. Technical InformationThe grapes were machine harvested into individual 1 ton insulated bins. The bins were transported to the winery and tipped directly into the press, facilitating our philosophy of gentle handling between the vineyard and the winery to preserve varietal aromas and reduce harshness in the wine. Gentle pressing ensured the juice was extracted with minimal astringent harshness. A brief cold settling and racking preceded inoculation with yeast strains selected to preserve the primary fruit aromas. Minimal fining and filtration were carried out before bottling by gravity.
